We continue to grow, and this time we’ve got room on our team for  a temp-to-perm designer! This position is based out of our Boston office located in awesome Fort Point. The designer be a part of our fast-paced tech department, working on everything from blog layouts to multi-page print layouts. Sound like your kind of thing? Job Description:

Next Generation Insurance Group is a groundbreaking insurance marketing company focused on life-stage and specialty markets.  We’ve been featured by Fox Business, The Wall Street Journal, and locally by the Boston Business Journal.  We’re searching for a Designer who can bring a diverse understanding of print and web design to the technology team.  The Designer will be responsible for assisting senior members of the technology team in projects such as print materials and co-branded websites.

Duties:

  • Provide web design services to all of NGI’s business, including the development of wireframes, mockups, final designs.
  • Provide front-end code, in the form of HTML, CSS and other applicable languages for web pages and emails.
  • Be a lead contributor to NGI’s print design operation, including designs for conferences/trade shows, marketing materials, direct mails, and proposals.

Skills:

  1. Photoshop, InDesign
  2. HTML, CSS
  3. AJAX a plus
  4. Working knowledge of PHP a plus
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Be a pleasant person and a true team player.
  7. Have attention to detail
  8. Be legitimately passionate about design

 

Education/Experience:

  • 1-2 years employment experience in design field, or applicable academic experience
  • Experience in working on a team of designers and back-end developers
  • Experience in consumer marketing/consumer Internet a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
